  • Great experience! Took in my 2006 Pontiac Vibe with a nail in the tire. Turned out there were two. They were able to repair both. They do free to repair. Considering that, they still provided excellent customer service. Christopher Kelly, at the desk, was over the top great with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. He handled walk-ins and an almost nonstop ringing telephone with superb customer service.

  • I was traveling and my oil light came on . I stopped in right at closing time and to my surprise they said they would go ahead and do my oil change. I asked one of the guys about needing an alignment and turns out I need to replace both tire rods on the fromt and have a front end alignment done, which is why I was having so much play in my steering. Well they also did all that for me at the same time. They even hooked me up with a coupon for $20 off an alignment which was awesome !!!! Keep up the good work and excellent customer service ! Would definitely recommend to anyone !!!!

  • I came in for an oil change without an appointment and was greeted by the nicest employee ever, Guari Reyes. He provided customer service beyond what was expected of him. We were going to walk down the street to the grocery store while my car was being serviced and he even offered for us to take his own car because he didn’t want us walking in the rain! How nice is that! But, I ended up settling for the umbrella he offered since I didn’t want anything to happen to his car if I took it. 10/10 would recommend this place to others: it was fast, friendly, and they treat you like their own family. You’ll be luckier if you stop by and Guari is there. Also, my car has improved MPG now after the oil change.

The inspected my car thoroughly and told me of the multiple problems associated it, when other places could not find out what was wrong. in the end they were honest and told me that fixing the car is possible but it would be more than what is worth and gave me helpful numbers and advice. They helped my family out a lot. I am not good with names but a guy there which I think started with a G who answered the phones is very kind.

  • On Saturday November 9th I walked into Famous Automotive and Tire Center on University Blvd. West and asked if they could repair my guard air damp on my 2014 Ford Focus. A super helpful Assistant Manager Guari Reyes took a look right away and said he could fix my issue. And he did, right away. He popped the air damp back into place and advised me of what I would need to purchase in order to secure it back into place. He asked me to come back tomorrow and he would put the clips in for me. Needless to say...they were very busy Saturday and the fact that he was able to help me right then was absolutely kind of him. I have never had a problem at this facility. Service is spectacular and they truly have secured a life long customer. I did happen to go back about an hour or 2 later after attempting to purchase clips at Napa Auto parts. Napa told me I needed to show them the actual clip. So, I went back to Famous Automotive and told Guari my issue, once again he immediately went to my vehicle and took out one of the clips and I was on my way. I greatly appreciate the outstanding customer service I received at Famous Automotive on University West. Great help is sometimes difficult to find, business's need more employee's/Assistant Manager's that exemplify the true meaning of treating the consumer/customer the way they would expect to be treated. Thank you so much and keep up the stellar service!

  • I was recommended to this location by several people and I have to say each person that I spoke to had positive feedback and a great experience with this location. So last Saturday I brought in my vehicle for a oil change and I knew that it was possibly time for a brake job. From the time I walked in until the time that the work was completed and I left I was really satisfied and impressed on how friendly the whole staff was. I got my brake pads ( which I figured I knew ) and oil change . They did not overstate the pricing , they were 100%% accurate, they did not pressure me into doing work ,they explained everything to me , they did not try to sell me things for my car that was not needed. With so many auto repair shops all along university blvd, it was important to me that I find a shop that will stand behind their work, not rip me off and be able to trust. Since I’m only living here 6 months it was important that I speak to people and check the reviews. If I could give this location 100 stars I would because I left that shop confident, satisfied and 100%% certain this is the shop for mycar repairs , oil changes etc if needed. I will spread the positive reviews ... one happy lady here !!!!

  • I was at suntire university friday and i took it there to have an overheating issue taken care of. After inspecting it for 10 minutes and being very rude to me telling me I need a $5000 engine I left. I came here to famous right down the road and Sam the assistant manager was amazing. He took me in immediately and diagnosed the vehicle himself. Told me it was a bad thermostat. I left there in under 30 minutes and under $120. I had an amazing experience at famous automotive and tire center. And as a woman i felt comfortable and i wasnt taken advantage off. I recommend everyone to go see Sam. He is very friendly and amazing. He is also cute.
